- Age: You must be 18 or older. If you’re between 16 and 18, you’ll need parental consent to apply.
- Residence:
- Non-Spouses/Civil Partners: At least 5 years of residence in the UK with no more than 450 days of absence in the last 5 years.
- Spouses/Civil Partners: At least 3 years of residence in the UK with no more than 270 days of absence in the last 3 years. Additionally, you cannot be absent for more than 90 days in the 12 months before applying.
